Sometimes, it’s best not to ask questions. If a little boy wearing a crown and carrying a scepter wants to draw a moustache on your face, you just say, “Yes.” And you realize the pleasure it brings almost immediately. It makes the boy pleased. It makes people laugh, and it gives them a reason to hug you and kiss you on the cheek. It makes you feel light-hearted. You feel free to let loose. Free to be assertive and, Gasp!, even manly.
Don’t think about how long it will take to wash off. Don’t worry about what people will think. This is about seizing the day. This is about making the most of every second. This is about living life to the fullest in a permanent marker moustache.
