first snow of the season

It's a blustery one out today, and, yes, we've seen our first snow of the season. Just a few specks here and there whipping in the wind, but enough to get us excited for more to come. And I'm wearing tights and a scarf. And I have my car back with a fresh new window. And we're moving on...

As my dad would say in his hippy voice, "Peace, love and happiness all over this world." Amen.

This is Kevin writing my Emi's computer.

I traveled section yesterday where I hit elevational snow bands, pretty cool. The ground was white and the trees frosted. Enough nip in the air to wear my wool cap. It got the blood flowing in my legs thinking of powder snow caps.

Jay Peak and the other mountains around here and in Canada covered in snow, it's all very exciting and so beautiful. 'Stime to put the old Hakkies on Mergatroyd, and search out my ice-scraper. Hey-ho, away we go, sliding on the snow-oh!
